24-7 Photography is Jason and Amanda — a couple team based in Apple Valley, Minnesota, with one shared obsession: making portraits that actually stop you mid-scroll. We shoot on location anywhere in the Twin Cities and beyond, we bring the lighting with us, and we don't quit when the sun goes down.
Our Story
Jason picked up a camera in college after watching friends shoot, and it stuck. He spent years developing his eye for portraits and mastering off-camera lighting — not to replicate a studio, but to build one anywhere he happened to be standing.
When he and Amanda started dating, she was already drawn to photography. Shooting together turned that interest into something more. Now, after years as partners in life and in work, they still bring out the best in each other on every session — both of them switching off as the photographer and helping each other see what others miss before the shutter clicks.
(They've made a solid attempt at recruiting their daughter. She remains unconvinced — for now...)
Team
Jason has been creating portraits professionally since 2001, but his real specialty is light. He's the one who shows up to a session at dusk with a plan for what happens when the sky goes dark — and the results tend to be the shots people frame.
Amanda is the reason sessions don't feel like sessions. She's the second set of eyes that catches the candid moment, the unexpected angle, the detail that makes a photo feel like *that* person and no one else.
